Great Legend
At the Hollywood Bowl, everything is always great. The Hollywood Bowl is just "So LA," as a friend once put it.
Coheed and Cambria was excellent! We enjoyed the show, a great night. Still has that great voice and a sense of humor, a genuine guy.
I only gave it 3 stars for one specific reason. At $200 for a ticket, the least you could have is a real band! Man, it's Coheed and Cambria, not a garage band. Great drummer. Great piano. Excellent lead guitar. Great bass. Fantastic saxophone. Non-existent trumpets, trombones, clarinets, violins, flute... Sorry, but a guy playing these parts on a tape or synthesized keyboard sucks and doesn't do justice for a great legendary artist like Coheed and Cambria.
By the way, the dinner and the service at the Hollywood Bowl was excellent!
